Desværre ser det ud til, at dit autoconf modul har gemt sig.

Jeg har også søgt efter navnet autoconf med locate, men finder
ikke noget cvs - autoconf. Hvordan lister man indholdet af CVS?

Du skriver ligefrem "autoconf helvede" ... hmmm, det får mig jo
til at blive lidt skeptisk, så jeg vil stille 2 spørgsmål

  1) Sker der fortsat udvikling af autoconf?
     (Eller er det bevist, at den er bedre til at fange inkonsistent
     opsætning?)

  2) Er det meningen, at folk skal kunne hente en fx. 
linuxbog-friheden-A30811-sgml.tar.gz , pakke ud og så fremstille
en .pdf fil, eller ønsker vi at det er vores transformationer, som
man bruger? 

  Hvis 2->ja, så kan jeg regne ud, at autoconf skal hjælpe
brugeren med at få et konsistent setup. Hvis 2->nej, så må vi
skrive et eller andet om det, fx.:

  Det er svært at transformere vores SGML / XML til .pdf og html,
og vi ønsker egentlig også helst, at folk henter vores færdige
versioner. Hvis du alligevel insisterer på selv at transformere
eller skrive bøger i docBook systemet, så læs vores bog "Friheden
Til At Vælge At Skrive Dokumentation", som beskriver de vigtigste
ting omkring installation, opmarkering og transformation.
