auctex inst. i .emacs?

Jeg hentede auctex-11.13.tar.gz pakkede den ud. Gik ind i det nyoprettede
katalog, og skrev make, det gik find.
hvad der derefter skete er her:

sslug@sslug:~> ls
Auctex Documents Mail OpenOffice.org1.0.1 ispell-da-1.4.23
Desktop GNUstep OpenOffice.org1.0 flyspell.el public_html

sslug@sslug:~> cd ~/Auctex/

sslug@sslug:~/Auctex> ls
auctex-11.13 auctex-11.13.tar.gz

sslug@sslug:~/Auctex>cd ./auctex-11.13

sslug@sslug:~/Auctex/auctex-11.13> ls
CHANGES auc-old.el latex.elc tex-font.elc tex.el
COPYING auc-old.elc lpath.el tex-fptex.el tex.elc
ChangeLog bib-cite.el multi-prompt.el tex-info.el texmathp.el
INSTALLATION doc multi-prompt.elc tex-info.elc texmathp.elc

Makefile font-latex.elc tex-buf.el tex-mik.el
PROBLEMS hilit-LaTeX.el tex-buf.elc tex-mik.elc
README latex.el tex-font.el tex-site.el

sslug@sslug:~/Auctex/auctex-11.13> su
Password:

linux:/home/dexter/Auctex/auctex-11.13 # make install
if [ ! -d /usr/local/share/emacs/site-lisp ]; then mkdir /usr/local/share/emacs/site-lisp;
else true; fi ;
make: *** [install-lisp] Error 1

linux:/home/dexter/Auctex/auctex-11.13 # exit

vide:

To install AUC TeX for an entire site (which may just be your own
personal Linux box), issue the following two commands as root:

     make
     make lispdir=/usr/local/share/emacs/site-lisp install

except that instead of /usr/local/... you should use the location of
your sites emacs installation. AUC TeX will then be installed in a
subdirectory named `auctex' of the `site-lisp' directory, and the file
`tex-site.el' will be stored directly in the `site-lisp'. You can now
tell your users to enable AUC TeX by adding

     (require 'tex-site)

   to their `.emacs' file.

her under

sslug@sslug:~> pwd
/home/dexter
sslug@sslug:~> ls -a
.
..
.DCOPserver_linux_:0
.DCOPserver_linux__0
.ICEauthority
.Xauthority
.Xdefaults
.Xmodmap
.Xresources
.acrobat
.adobe
.bash_history
.bashrc
.dvipsrc
.emacs
.emacs.d
.esd_auth
.exrc

             Dexter
