Du mener AUCTeX? Ja, fx.

Nej, det gjorde jeg ikke.

Nej - du kan sagtens tilføje flere elementer til load-paths (som er en
liste). Der er sikkert allerede mere end et bibliotek i din
load-path.

Det er den .emacs der findes i dit hjemmekatalog.

Det der ligger i /usr/share/emacs/ (eller hvor det nu ligger på dit
system) er systemfiler til Emacs. ~/.emacs er din konfigurationsfil
med *dine* instillinger af hvordan du synes Emacs skal virke for dig.
