Er netikette - i modsætning til de fleste andre spilleregler her i verden -
noget statisk, som ikke kan ændres?

Måske ville det være rimeligt at vurdere, om det, at nogle bruger gamle
programmer til at læse news med, skal være styrende, eller om udviklingen
har gjort, at disse programmer må videreudvikles, så de viser et indlæg fra
toppen, og ikke fra bunden.
Hvis udviklingen af Linux havde været styret af samme stivhed var der jo
aldrig sket noget. Jeg tænker her på ting som det nye modelune at programmet
opretter et selvstændigt dir til sin konfigurationsfiler (fx samba) eller
installerer sig under /opt

Det nuværende system med at svare i bunden giver ganske vidst et forløb i
debatten, som er efter normal læseretning for os (oppe fra og ned), med
ingen af de GUI programmer jeg kender til understøtter det. Svar i toppen er
kommet for at blive, og er blevet standard de steder, hvor der ikke lige
skrives om Unix i en eller anden form.
