Jeg er meget uenig.

Microsoft har dokumenteret, at W2K lever op til et sæt af kriterier. Vi bilder 
os bare ind, at Linux gør det.
Jeg er ligeglad med, om Linux har den certificering, men jeg så gerne, at 
Linux overholdt kriterierne.

Som det er nu, foregår udviklingen, testningen og auditeringen af Linux 
fuldstændigt tilfældigt og lemfældigt.

Eric Raymond har for eksempel kritiseret, at Linus ikke medtager hans 
fejlrettelser. 

Linus holdning er:
"The only thing you are ENTITLED to is to have your own tree."
Det er fint, hvis Linux udelukkende skal være et nørdsystem, hvor alle er 
kompetente til at rode med alting selv. Men hvis Linux skal ud af 
nørdværelserne, så duer den holdning ikke længere. 

Jeg så gerne, at The Linux Development Model blev lidt mere strømlinet og lidt 
mindre hypet! Med andre ord så jeg gerne, at Linux levede op til "an 
inadequate set of requirements", fordi det trods alt er bedre end ikke at 
leve op til et sæt af kriterier.
