Jeg har sagt hvad jeg mener før, og det er at den lov som er blevet 
vedtaget af EU-kommisionen, eller er ved at blive det, ikke gælder for 
software der er alene.

Det betyder (i min verden), at software du selv lægger ind i maskinen, 
_ikke_ er omfattet af patenter.

Men den software der er i din BIOS eller grafik-chip, vil være 
omfattet af patenter, da det er software solgt sammen med hardware.

Det giver dårligt mening af købe et køleskab, eller video-maskine uden 
software (endnu).

Til gengæld giver det _idag_ mening at købe et motherboard uden BIOS, 
for selv at installere en Linux-BIOS.

Her jeg fuldstændigt misforstået loven?

Der skal vel nærmest en højesteretsdom til, før vi kender det 
rigtige svar?
