Hvis det ikke er gået op for ham at open source verdenen mener at software patenter er et stort problem (og IBM har flere end alle andre), så har han godt nok levet under en sten de sidste mange år...

IBM er en af de helt store kontroverser hvad angår Linux og open source generelt. De er uden tvivl store tilhængere og de støtter Linux og open source massivt, men samtidigt er de uden tvivl (hvis de pludseligt fik en god grund) i stand til at "lukke og slukke" for meget open source software vha. deres store patentsamling.

Mon ikke hr. Perens kontakter IBM snart :)
