Nej, det er netop Hartmuts pointe. At selvom Greg lever på "patent
busting" var han ikke istand att finde prior art til det amerikanske
patentet.

EPC 52 kenner du vel?

Begrebet "technical contribution" betyder "tekniskt bidrag". En
opfindelse må give et tekniskt bidrag til hvad som er känt for
at vare patenterbar. Det lyder som et rimeligt krav, men IRL betyder det
ingenting, fordi EPO betrakter ibland opfindelsen som helhed, ibland i
ulige deler. När det gäller swpat så er den del som er ny og innovativ
sjaelve softwaren, men det tekniske bidrag er kun at datoren går lidt
hurtigere eller at det er lidt nemmere for användaren (minkset antal
museklik). Det er dette som er "junktalk":
