Imod dette kan man argumentere at folk generelt stiller større og større 
krav til deres platform. F.eks. var det ret ligemeget om man kunne 
afspille mp3 før ca. 1996. Idag er det oplagt at det skal man kunne.

Jeg har ikke kørt andet end Linux siden 1997. Jeg overvejer nu at få mig
en Windows licens, fordi jeg gerne vil have at min 3'årige søn skal kunne
spille børnespil (og jeg har bare ikke haft nogen succes med Wine). Når
han bliver større, vil han helt sikkert gerne have at hjemmesider, mv,
virker rigtigt og at han kan se det DRM og andet snask der bliver lagt 
på folks sider. 

Jeg vil også gerne have at han bliver en Linux bruger. Men, hvis alt det 
sjove foregår under Windows, så er det en kamp op af bakke.
