Jeg kender ikke ordet afbrud og synes umiddelbart at det lyder
mærkeligt, men jeg kan til min overraskelse se at ordet findes i RO
(sammen med anbrud, frembrud, gennembrud, indbrud, nedbrud, opbrud,
udbrud m.fl.).

Hvad er forskellen på afbrud og afbrydelse?
