Man siger jo normalt at det er interessant hvor vidt man har nul, een
eller mange af en given ting.  Tilsvarende her.  At have mange, mange
små filer er ikke nødvendigvis en god ide, men hvis det er sådan dine
data er, så kan det være en løsning.  Her kan man fx se på hvordan
Squid eller Mozilla organiserer sin cache i filsystemet.

Hvad er det for et konkret problem du ønsker at løse?

Jeg kunne fx sagtens forestille mig at hvis jeg havde et tilsvarende
problem i Java, at det ville indgå i løsningsmodelovervejelserne at
koble en embedded database på, og lade dne om problemet.
