Hvis du vil finde ud af det, har du 3 veje at gå:

1) Spørg producenten. Hvis de ikke ved det, så spørg hvilken chip de faktisk
anvender og se om du kan google på den og linux driver.

Det er ganske muligt at dino-lite får kamera-delen fra en anden leverandør,
som så måske er på listen.

2) google på "dino-lite usb camera linux driver" eller lign. og se om andre
har prøvet det kamera under Linux.

3) køb det i en dansk webshop og benyt dig af din returret (nb. Check med
butikken at du må prøve det af i Linux først - og at det er til at pakke
ind så det ser ud som da du modtog det, efter afprøvning).

Videokameraer generelt virker fint i Linux. Selv har jeg et indbygget i min
Dell Vostro 1500 og det virkede perfekt, da jeg lige installerede uvc-video
driveren (og kørte Debians ganske rare kernemodul-compile helper).

Hvis mikroskop delen i kameraet har nogle ekstra kamera features (f.ex.
motorkontrol af zoom niveau etc.), så skal du nok finde en specifik driver
til det kamera, eller et specifikt userspace program der understøtter det.
