Ja, undskyld det er en taste fejl. Det skulle selvfølgelig være
/home/httpd/html.

Jeg har lige prøvet at installere Mandrake på min maskine. Her virker det
fint!! Hurra! Meget mystisk. Under installationen finder Mandrake selv ud af
om der er nogle pakker fra andre program grupper som er nødvendige for at
installationen virker. Det skulle man tro Hed Hat også gør. I hvert fald
burde det virke når man vælger server installationen. Men noget er der galt.

Til gengæld er jeg løbet ind i et andet problem (det vil ingen ende ta').
Efter at have installeret Mandrake kan jeg ikke logge på som "root". Jeg kan
godt logge på som den bruger jeg definerede i installationen, men root siger
bare "Login incorrect". Og det er ikke fordi jeg har glemt mit password. Jeg
har prøvet at geninstallere, men det samme sker. Jeg synes også at jeg har
været ude for det med Hed Hat distributionen. Hvordan kan det være? Det er
som om den vælger et eller andet default password.
Der står i "Friheden til at vælge" at jeg skal boote med "linux
init=/bin/sh" for at ændre mit root password, men hvordan gør jeg dette mere
præcist. Jeg kan jo ikke skrive til /etc/lilo.conf.

Er det en tastefejl i din besked her, eller står der virkelig "homr"
i log-filen (og dermed også i httpd.conf) ?
