Mål og spørgsmål.
Er Symantic Partition Magic (6.0 eller 8.0) et godt program? Er det
betryggende at bruge? Er der bedre alternativer for en novice, der arbejder
mest med programmering og ikke med opsætning.
Jeg vil gerne køre både windows98, windows2000 og en Red Hat Linux på den
samme maskine.
Windows2000 skal lige nu bruges til .net "eksperimenter"  og Red Hat skal
bruges til at kompilere og teste cgi-bin programmer.
Kører i øjeblikket win98se på en Celeron ca. 1000 mhz med 128 MB ram og 12
mb harddisk.
Sætter nok en harddisk mere på.

Nogle gæt, kommentarer og spørgsmål.
Jeg regner med at Partition Magic er et program som køres i
windowsomgivelser (win98se) og at programmet startes som alle andre
'normale' windowsprogrammer, hvorefter partionering m.m. kan ske. Lad os
sige at jeg opretter 2 yderligere partitioner og herefter afslutter
Partition Magic.
Ved genstart ved jeg ikke rigtigt hvad der sker. Der er jo ikke installeret
et yderligere et OS. Så maskinen reagerer måske ved blot at starte win98 som
sædvanlig.
Så hvad sker der når jeg sætter en Redhat Linux eller windows2000
installations CDrom i drevet?
