Derfor skal du nok i retning af, hvorledes automount
devices specificeres i Debian.
Og her kommer jeg til kort da jeg ikke liiige har en
Debian at se på og min test-Ubuntu gør det åbentbart
anderledes.

Men lad os lige prøve om der overhovedet er hul igennem:

1, sæt en cdrom i brænderdrevet (een, som du er sikker på
ikke er kopieringsbeskyttet eller lignende - f.eks. en
cdrom med alm. datafiler).

2. kontroller at /burner eksisterer som directory:
kommandoen:
  ls -ld /burner
skal helt returnere noget i retning af:

drwxr-xr-x 7 root root 4096 2005-04-06 00:00 /burner

Noget som ligner....men ikke helt: dr-xr-xr-x 1 root root 2048 Jan 1 1970 /burner


3. udfør kommandoen: mount /dev/burner /burner (som root)

4a. Hvis der ikke kommer nogen fejlmeddelelse, så
prøv at se om du ikke kan læse indholdet på cdrommen

4b. Hvis der kommer en fejlmeddelelse, så
fortæl os om den :-)

sslug@sslug /]# mount /dev/burner /burner mount: block device /dev/burner is write-protected, mounting read-only mount: /dev/burner already mounted or /burner busy mount: according to mtab, /dev/hdd is already mounted on /burner



5. Hvis det virker - så skal du frigøre cdrommen med umount /burner
