Hej Marie

Grunden er at man på linux som udgangspunkt ikke har rettigheder til
at ændre i vigtige filer. Man skal altså være "superbruger" (root i
linux-sprog) for at kunne ændre i filen.

Nu kan jeg ikke lige huske hvilken slags linux du har, men på Ubuntu
som jeg sidder med kan du eksempelvis skrive

sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf

så bliver du bedt om dit eget password og kan så ændre i filen.

Hvis du har en anden slags linux burde du kunne skifte til root og så
åbne filen "normalt" for at ændre i den.
