At Xorg.conf ikke er korrekt udfyldt er ikke det samme som graffikortet ikke er fundet, betyder blot at initielle konfiguration

Se i logs til Xorg : /var/log/Xorg.0.log om hvad Xserveren fandt
når den starter. Der kan du også se hvilken driver Xorg har valgt
når X starter.

Nu skriver du tidlgiere i tråden at dit problem er at du
ikke kan vælge yderligere "visuelle effekter", og det er ikke unormalt med ældre grafikkort.

Ja, måske er mit grafikkort bare for gammelt... Men burde jeg ikke i det mindste kunne vælge "normal" (under Udseende --> Visuelle effekter)? Jeg synes i hvert fald ikke, at grafikken så lige så 'klodset' ud, da jeg kørte Windows.
