Ja, men når du har lavet en CREATE STORED PROCEDURE ...
med et eller andet interaktivt værktøj, så er den derefter tilgængelig
fra Ada og C++ som det der hedder en SELECT-procedure eller måske en
EXECUTE-procedure.
Sådanne kan modtage parametre, hvis du koder dem til det.
Du udvider derved SQL-sproget til din database, kan man sige.
