Mail signering i pine



Hej kloge mennesker.

Nu har jeg læst noget om "pine og openssl"
(http://www.washington.edu/pine/getpine/non-UW.html#Documentation)

Der stod dog ikke rigtig noget om hvordan man krypterer mail med ssl,
mest om hvordan man bruger openssl op imod IMAP el. lign.

Så jeg læste openssl man siden og så tænkte jeg: Hey, pine har de der
sending og display filters, og openssl programmet kan tilsyneladende
signere, verificere, encrypte og decrypte, når det kaldes med "rsautl".

Så jeg prøvede et "sending filter" der ser sådan her ud:

/usr/bin/openssl rsautl -inkey privatnoegle.pem  -sign

(den private nøgle har jeg lavet med 
openssl pkcs12 -clcerts -in mitcert.p12 -out privatnoegle.pem
og så med en editor slettet alt udenom 
-----BEGIN RSA PRIVATE KEY-----
og -----END RSA PRIVATE KEY-----).

Det filter virker fint - det krypterer tilsyneladende indholdet af den
mail jeg sender :-( Hvilket vist også er hvad jeg beder den om med
ovenstående - input er stdin - men det er ikke hensigten.

Så, nu er jeg lige dum: Hvilke data er det man ønsker at kryptere når
man signerer noget? Hvordan laver jeg et filter der gør det rigtigt?

Er det data'ene fra mailen (som jeg gør), men så mangler jeg at få
dataene med i uændret form ovenover, så man kan læse mailen, selvom den
er signeret? Er det kun en md5sum eller lign. af de krypterede data jeg
ønsker at sende med over som "signatur"?

Jeg ikke rigtig forstå.

Fortæl mig hvad der skal ske, så skal jeg nok finde ud af at få det til
at ske :-) Håber jeg.
