det er ikke umuligt... men det kræver en noget platform
specifikt kode, som skal kodes specifikt til hver eneste platform vi
skal understøtte.

environment vars er ikke de samme under windows og under linux. Der
skal laves noget "System.execute()" noget som henter vars via stdout
ind i applet - og så skal det parses - forskelligt for hver platform.

user.dir er en std. java-environment var som kan læses direkte under
java og som desværre er implementeret forskelligt, ikke kun for hver
platform men også platform version (f.eks. winnt!=win2k!=winxp)

Det letteste for OpenSign er at læse "user.dir" og oprette et katalog
derunder. Det vil ALTID virke og det er det som vi har gjort i hvert
fald til at starte med...
