nameserver setup



Jeg vil gerne sige tak til dem der har hjulpet mig videre i det sidste
stykke tid. Jeg har godt nok ikke løst alle prblemerne endnu. (Jeg får
lige kigget lidt på dem engang imellem når min kæreste ikke er hjemme
;-)
Nu har jeg fået opgraderet min redhat 6.0 til 6.2, men nu er der noget
galt med min nameserver (tror jeg nok).
Mit problem er, at jeg nok kan connecte via usernet (jeg har endnu ikke
fået compileret diald ;-( og jeg kan også pingewww.image.dk som er min
ISP.
Men netscape (ver 4.7) ville ikke connecte, og da jeg bruger den som
mail client kunne jeg heller ikke læse eller sende emails før i dag. Det
jeg har gjort er at starte named og finde ip addreserne på mail.image.dk
og smtp.image.dk vha. nslookup og skrive dem i preferences i netscape,
så virkede det.
Men der er jo stadig noget galt da jeg kun kan bruge ip adresser. Jeg
mindes svagt at have haft problemet før, men kan ikke huske hvordan jeg
løste det.

Er der en som kan give mig et eksempel på hvordan diverse filer skal se
ud når man som jeg kører dynamisk dial up med en stand alone linux
maskine.
Så vil jeg blive meget glad.
Hvis der desuden er en som kan fortælle mig hvad der er galt siden jeg
ikke kan compilere diald pakken så ville det være rigtigt fedt.
Jeg får ved "make depend" en bunke warnings pga. redefines, men den
fortsætter med et par skærmfulde af dette før den exiter med en error 1,
se vedlagte udskrift :

Jeg har gransket config.h og fundet ud af at jeg har alle de filer der
henvises til her, bortset fra bootpc. Er det pga. den det går galt, og
ligger den i givet fald i en RPM i redhat 6.2 distributionen ?
