Det er muligt. Men output er det ønskede :D
Hmmm... Er du egentlig sikker på at det ikke er ls?
Fordi ls returnerer faktisk med sti så langt tilbage mod / som man "spørger" med.
f.eks.:
sslug@sslug gren3.1]$ ls -1 ../gren3.2/sti/til/subdir/*
gren2/gren3.2/sti/til/subdir/fil_1
gren2/gren3.2/sti/til/subdir/fil_2
gren2/gren3.2/sti/til/subdir/fil_3
gren2/gren3.2/sti/til/subdir/fil_4
