Jeg benyttede gennem længere tid et G550 som jeg ved hjælp af
ovenstående guide kunne køre tv-out på. Vær opmærksom på at matroxfb i
kerner før 2.6.9 er lettere defekt. Jeg benyttede gentoo-dev-sources og
det virkede fint. Husker du at sætte en fornuftig framebuffer opsætning
i mplayer?

Jeg havde i /etc/fb.modes:
mode "800x600 75Hz 16bit"
    # D: 49.50 MHz, H: 46.875 kHz, V: 75.00 Hz
    geometry 800 600 800 600 16
    timings 20203 160 16 21 1 80 3
    hsync high
    vsync high
endmode

Og i min mplayer config:
vf=pp,scale=800:-2
fb = /dev/fb1
fbmode = "800x600 75Hz 16bit"
