Geninstallation af apache på Debian (efter tåbelig opførsel ...)



Jeg skal have Apache op at køre på min server med php4 og php4-mysql support.

Da jeg nu ikke kunne få det til at virke, tænkte jeg, at jeg afinstallere det og så slette config-filerne og så reinstallere apache med apt-get eller dselect.

Desværre kan Debian "se" at apache har været installeret før. Den siger ihvertfald :

Sætter apache (1.3.33-6sarge1) op...

Ingen sådan fil eller filkatalog
Can't read /etc/apache/modules.conf
Ingen sådan fil eller filkatalog
Configuration syntax error detected. Not reloading.

Jeg kunne jo "låne" nogle config-filer et andetsted fra, men hvordan nulstiller man pakken således, at apt/dpkg ikke ved, at pakken har været installeret?

Eller beror det hele på, at en basis debian installation simpelthen har disse config-filer installeret allerede?
