Det kan sagtens lade sig gøre. Selv kører jeg kdm tre gange. for at få det
til at virke har jeg ændret i kdm's opsætning i:

/usr/kde/3.4/share/config/kdm/kdmrc

Prøv at starte med at få X til at køre med en vesa driver eller
framebuffer og se så om det kan lade sig gøre der. På mit ATI kort havde
jeg f.eks. kun 3D acceleration i den ene X session.
