Ok, det glemte jeg at skrive, men jeg har faktisk prøvet at køre updatedb som root uden held:

sslug@sslug ~]$ sudo updatedb
sslug@sslug ~]$ slocate stikord
sslug@sslug ~]$

Burde den ikke komme med her? Andre idéer?
