jeg har ikke hørt noget om det problem med USB diske

Men visse af >1TB diske laves i dag internt med 4096 byte sektorer
men firmware i harddisk laver det om til 512 byte logiske sektorer.
På SATA diskene skal man formatere korrekt forskydning så at cache
ved skrivning passer, ellers bliver diskaccess meget langsommere
da cache rammer ved siden af 4096 byte sektoren.
(windows XP kan ikke af sig selv fikse dette uden hjælp,
og i  linux fdisk  kan man sætte ekstra paramtre på)


men som jeg skrev tidligere, der er en bekrymede fejl i logfil
"Sense Key : Recovered Error [current]"
den fejl burde ikke forekomme i nyere linux.
Hvilken linux distribution var det?
