1)
prøv ikke noget på den disk der ændrer på indholdet!
(ingen fsck osv)

2)
check med smartctl -a /dev/sdb    (smartmontools)
hvad disken selv siger om "unrecoverable" errors.
boot evt. fra live-cd/usb f,eks,  http://www.sysresccd.org/


3)
Check evt. om det er kabel/stik fra disk til bundkort der er løse.
(hvis det ikke er helt klart det er sektor fejl på disk)

4)
lav en kopi/image på en anden disk
og på "kopien" kan du prøve om du kan redde data.

muligvis skal du bruge et specialprogram til at kopiere partition(er)
sådan at defekte sektorer ikke stopper kopieringen:

(den er på sysrescuecd)

ved kopiering finder du ud af hvor mange sektorer er defekte.
forhåbentlig ikke alle og du kan prøve fsck på kopi-disken,
og så håb på det bedste....
